This special skin condition caused Winnie harlow became a victim of bullying from the other children and caused her changing school numerous times and dropping out of high school.
Survived with unpleasant situation harlow successfully modeled for world fashion magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Glamour, Complex etc. it's not a surprise that harlow is boasting 1.3 million insta-fans, a TV commercial for sprite,and billboards for diesel and desigual.
Winnie harlow recently starred in beyonce's world stopping lemonade video. Her skin condition has made her career and become a symbol for diversification and progression. Her beauty is undeniable and her skin breaks down barriers of what is considered beautiful.

On her instagram account she also made a clarification" i am not a "vitiligo spokesperson". Stop trying to pin that on me. I have vitiligo, and i am confident.
That doesnt make me the spokesperson for vitiligo. Just because a black person is confident, doesnt make the a negro spokesperson.

Winnie harlow's story is one of hope in superficial industry - proof that our differences are cause for celebration on magazines covers - but its also one of frustration.
Her biggest challenge is to get past what makes her different, to celebrate what makes her the same.
